Most fascinating.  I'm impressed that your students are interested in this up and coming field.  You may want to contact NC State College of Textiles.  A Skype call would be interesting for your students and the instructors there are very willing to speak to young people.&lt;BR/&gt;http://www.tx.ncsu.edu  There are several divisions at NC State that work with nanotechnology.  We were even allowed to work in a "clean room" and develop a multi-hued cd.
