Picture One of the joys of my life has been as co-founder of the Flat Classroom projects with my friend, Julie Lindsay. What started as a collaboration between my classroom in Camilla, Georgia and her classroom in Dhaka, Bangladesh has grown to several projects that run many times a year and have linked thousands of students around the world. The Flat Classroom™ Conference+*
Held annually in a variety of locations around the world. A project based learning conference for students and educators using leading technology tools to envision and further the future of education. Held once a year.

 This project is typically grades 9-12; studying leading technology trends and producing video artifacts and includes peer review classrooms down to grade 5 and expert advisor and judges from the educational community at large. Three times per year.
