Great article from Ben Grey on Building Better Backchannels. It is not in just the building but in teaching the appropriate use and how to effectively teach through them. There is definitely a learning curve.
Phenomenal article from Bob Sprankle about how he "taught from home" last week -- I do it too in the very rare case that I am home.
Sometimes it is frustrating b/c I'm still pretty much teaching class, however it is great because I'm still pretty much teaching class. I guess I just know about the teachers who play sick and sleep at the beach and those who teach from home when they are contagious.
