IN a 3 hour class at ACTEM in Maine, these twenty five amazing educators came up with a template for evaluating free sites and began evaluating and sharing websites. Feel free to join in and share websites.
There are so many lists of websites, but this is an effort to evaluate and share reviews about the sites. They named the wiki and created the template and I hope they'll continue this sharing. When a teacher finds a great site, they should share!

Online Content Can Be Persistent (even when people try to take it offline)
Excellent post from Wes Fryer about the true persistence of online content. This is an excellent case study and one of the most well written examples of the persistence of online content. It would make a great discussion for college level and perhaps high school level classes.

Facebook keeps 'deleted' user photos for years - Annotated
This article points out that up to 30 months after photos are deleted from Facebook that they are still there. If someone has the direct URL to a photo, it is still accessible. Students should be taught about this and we should educate ourselves as well. Once something is uploaded it is out there. Period. You cannot take it back.
