Ninite - Install or Update Multiple Apps at Once
This incredible website lets you pick all of the software you want and automatically says NO to toolbars and "junk" you don't want on the computer. I'm using it to make sure I have everything on the new computers I'm putting in at school. It is missing a few virtual world programs but overall it saves TONS of time! It even does updates! Works for Linux and PC.

The 10 Elements of Digital Learning
From the digital learning now coalition here are their 10 elements of digital learning. I find this helpful but there are of course, many elements out there. I am also bothered that nothing about connecting with others is included in this. The term "digital learners" is also nebulous. I think that excellence in education includes global collaboration because I have seen the transformational impact first hand.
