One has to be skeptical of such reports: everyone has a political agenda these days. If you are trying to dig into the politics, here is a place to start. We all have to focus on students but that is rarely the case these days. Our eye is not on the ball in education and we will reap what we sow in 20 years with no one to blame but ourselves.

Richard Byrne's evaluation of TEDEd includes a desire to have live chat while watching a video. this is a tough one. I have found unless chat has a purpose it gets off purpose. Multitasking is a myth. I winder if they could have catch points to stop and chat instead.

This is Miguel Guhlin's shared Evernote notebook on Bring Your Own Device. This shows how Bring Your Own Device can be done but also how useful Evernote is becoming. (Although I have to admit that I'm having a terrible problem with an update/ reinstall on my Windows 7 64 bit machine at work and have been down there for at least a month - but am working on it.)
