You can download a 30 day free trial of Stop Motion Pro and have students create pirate videos to enter in this competition. Your kids could win a free trip (and learn about video.) What a great way to end the school year as the deadline is May 29.

I wish everyone would look at this infographic about the hours, time, and tasks of teachers. Did you know that 51% of us work on Sundays versus less than 20% in other professions? How about the fact that we work 99% as many hours in a year as every other profession but in 25% less time? Or that 1/3 of teachers in the US are over 50 and 1/5 are in their 20's. Teaching is a great profession of heroes and this infographic does a good job of telling with data what we live every day.

The Monty Python galaxy song that can be used with a PowerPoint to teach about space.

Popular space activities to do with students including a very popular PowerPoint that is made to accompany the Monty Python galaxy song! This is perfect for upper elementary or middle school but I think the galaxy song could be used with anyone.

A cool website for kids from the Japan Exploration Agency (in English but there is a Japanese, Thai, and Indonesian version too.) IT talks about the international space station, about outer space and life in space.
