Amazon Kindle: Victoria A. Davis
Here's my profile on Amazon Kindle - I share a lot of highlights when I'm reading on Kindle. Right now I"m not reading as much because of the end of the school year but you can see the many transformational books that I love. If you use the Kindle app, you should sign in with your amazon account, set up your profile and start following. I'm finding it a great way to find the books that have conversation.

Here is where I follow what people are writing and highlighting on the Flat Classroom book and finding people to follow to talk about the Flat Classroom book. To show up, you need to make your highlights in the kindle public, but you can do that by tweeting or Facebook updating a post from the book and then we can see each other. These notes are a way that books are flattening. I see that Seth Godin is starting to connect in this way around one of his books.

Global Projects for the Early Years – K2 Building Bridges | On an e-Journey with Generation Y
Can very young students connect globally (Kindergarten - 2nd grade). Here Ann Mirtchsin from Australia reflects on the Flat Classroom K-2 pilot project is setting out to see just how this works. This pilot project is a free- can we do it - figure it out - pilot/ bootcamp experience including 44 classrooms. It closed a few weeks a go and they are working and sharing. Here is just one of the reflections. As always, we'll openly share everything we learn and let you know if there is the volunteer support to keep this going. (I'm thinking there will be.) Such a great project.
